Fallen sandstone blocks heaped against the gatepost at number 3, the rest of the wall still standing

Our work

Real jobs, photographed on the day.

Four jobs told properly, then everything else we've photographed. Nothing on this page is a stock photo.

Fallen sandstone blocks heaped against the gatepost at number 3, the rest of the wall still standingA
The broken end of the collapsed sandstone wall, loose stones and soil where the corner came downB
The same corner at number 3 rebuilt in coursed sandstone, running up to the gatepost againC

Stone wall rebuild

The wall at number 3

A sandstone garden wall came down at the corner and spilled across the path beside the gatepost. It went back up coursed to match the run either side, tight to the same post.

A roof valley stripped right out, the old lining exposed and the tiles lifted back either sideA
The finished valley in new lead, tiles pointed in along both edges and the ridge being pointedB

Roof valleys, Code 4 lead

Two valleys, stripped and relined

Both roof valleys stripped out completely so the old valley system could come out and the area be prepared properly.

  • Both existing valleys stripped out
  • New valley boards to form the valleys and make up the levels
  • Code 4 lead laid to both valleys
  • Tiles repointed neatly against the new lead
  • Existing roof tiles reused where suitable
  • Full clean-up, all waste removed from site

From our write-up of the job, August 2026

A garage with the door taken out, the brick opening toothed ready to be built inA
The garage front built up to sill height, bricks stacked either sideB
The converted garage front from the side, new brickwork around a wide window openingC

Garage conversion

Garage door out, brick front in

The garage door came out, the opening was toothed so the new courses tie into the old, and the front was built up to a wide window opening ready for the frame.

The Oxspring boundary wall under way along the side of the house, piers and a mixing tubA

Boundary wall, Oxspring

An open boundary, turned into a wall

What started as an open boundary is being transformed into a substantial new wall, giving the property a much more defined, finished look.

Harry from 215 Brickwork came and gave a quote for replacing the steps. He explained everything that would be done clearly to Mom. Harry came the next day, on time, and did the job. Mom is really pleased with the work and would highly recommend 215 Brickwork.
